Merchant Advisory Group Website Launches

Member association sees engagement double with site redesign

Baltimore, MD (December 11, 2020)–Astriata today announced the launch of the redesigned website for the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), a Minnesota-based organization that represents 165 of the largest U.S. merchants. MAG’s mission is to drive positive change and innovation in the payments industry through collaboration, education, and advocacy.

MAG’s primary goal was to improve the user experience of their website with a redesign and an updated implementation of the Sitefinity content management system. Astriata conducted usability testing with members of MAG’s primary audiences using UserHappy™. The results helped guide the strategy for the design of the user interface and user experience. The improved user experience is critical in efficiently delivering important information about the latest in the payments industry, providing access to learning opportunities, offering information about the next conference, and giving members opportunities to become engaged. The value of membership is communicated and supported by the website.

Astriata implemented the latest version of Sitefinity. We were able to seamlessly integrate iMIS, the association management software, and incorporate a Drupal calendar. Astriata also created web services that enabled MAG to launch a mobile app. After thoroughly testing the website and training MAG staff, the website launched in December 2020.
